Kendra comes from the great state of North Carolina, but received her education at the University of California Los Angeles. She majored in International Development with a regional focus on East Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Her minor was Geography/Environmental Studies, which reinforced her devotion to sustainable development practices. She has lived in Asia periodically for 13 years, beginning in 1998 while serving as an Air Traffic Controller in the Air Force. Her unique experiences in Japan and China have drawn her back to the region to do poverty alleviation and empowerment work. Currently, she is Chief-of-Staff for Himalayan Consensus.

Natalia graduated from Ural State University (Yekaterinburg, Russia), with a Bachelors degree in Foreign Affairs and Oriental Studies, and a Masters Degree in Asian Studies. Fluent in English, Russian, and Mandarin Chinese, Natalia has lived in Beijing for 3 years, and joined the Himalayan Consensus team in 2008 as the personal assistant to founder Laurence Brahm. She was promoted to Public Relations Manager in 2009. Natalia also enjoys film/documentary, fashion and outdoors.

Reiko practiced for twelve years as a corporate attorney prior to transitioning into economic development work. She is a graduate of Wellesley College and of the Florida State University College of Law. She is the author of several articles, including China Lessons: Getting Started in Business, and The Plant Lady: A Chinese Migrant’s Search for a Better Life. The loves of her life are her Siberian Huskie and Golden Retriever.

Adam was born in the Isle of Man, studied physics at the University of Oxford, and qualified with a Masters in 2007. He then moved to London, where he worked as an analyst and insight consultant in the ecommerce industry until summer 2010. He currently lives in Beijing, and is assisting Himalayan Consensus' web properties to reach their full potential.
